**Join Our Team at Jimoco Cafe and Pasta**
Jimoco Cafe and Pasta, specializing in casual Italian cuisine with a Korean twist, is seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team in Port Coquitlam.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Strong knife skills.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
