Film & Event Solutions Inc is a leading company that specializes in supplying location support rental equipment, expendables and 2-way radio communication equipment to Film, TV and Event Industries in Toronto. We are Motorola resellers and we are expanding our operations to 2-way radio communication equipment sales and rentals.
**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify and target potential customers within the assigned industries and businesses.
- Must be willing to learn, train and understand 2-way radio communication equipment and technologies. Previous experience in these type of equipment is an asset.
- Understanding of electronics and radio communications is an asset.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, industry trends.
- Research competitors’ products, services and prices to develop advantage business strategy
- Must communicate sales reports such as leads on a regular basis.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Must be able to drive his/her own vehicle to client’s location to conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of radio equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and negotiate contracts with clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to share market insights, best practices, and strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, competitor activities, and product knowledge.
**Qualifications**:
- Connections in industries such as mining, manufacturing, government, retail, warehousing, entertainment, event, film, tech, health care, outdoor, is an asset.
- Ability to work and develop strategy under little or no supervision.
- Ability to work with a great team and alone.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with two-way radio equipment or related technologies is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
**Salary**: $51,001.00-$58,600.00 per year

**Education**:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)

- Driving Licence (required)
