**Recruitment Admissions and Administrative Coordinator, School of Rehabilitation Science**:
**Primary Purpose**: This position will assist with the day-to-day operations of admissions while advancing strategic efforts to enhance accessibility and diversity within the School of Rehabilitation Science (SRS). A key priority is the recruitment and support of Indigenous students, in alignment with the University of Saskatchewan’s commitment to transformative decolonization leading to reconciliation, equity, diversity, and inclusion as outlined in the University Plan 2025. Working collaboratively with the College of Medicine (CoM), and the central USask recruitment team, and other key partners, this role will promote SRS programs to prospective learners and strengthen pathways for underrepresented groups. These activities will require meaningful engagement with stakeholders to remove barriers and foster a welcoming environment for students. Through these efforts, the role contributes to the broader goal of increasing student diversity and supporting equitable access to rehabilitation science education.

**Nature of Work**: Reporting to the SRS Manager, Academic Programs and Operations, and working closely with the Communications and Strategic Initiatives Coordinator this position functions independently and efficiently in a high-volume, multi-tasking environment. The position is part of the Admissions Team and Recruitment Committee and involves interactions with applicants, SRS faculty, staff, and students, as well as internal and external stakeholder groups. May be eligible for hybrid work under the terms of USask’s Alternative Workspace Guidelines at the discretion of the employer. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

**Accountabilities**:

- Recruitment _
- Be a contributing member to the Recruitment committee and collaborate with others to develop and implement recruitment and marketing strategies for the SRS.
- Ensure alignment of recruitment and marketing initiatives with the SRS, CoM, and USask strategic priorities, with a focus on Indigenous student engagement.
- Create and deliver virtual and in-person student recruitment presentations.
- Collaborate with the Communications and Strategic Initiatives Coordinator to develop a recruitment and marketing plan, including in-person and virtual recruitment activities and using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
- Assist with the design and creation of recruitment materials (both print and electronic).
- Collaborate with Academic Program Assistants to ensure SRS admissions website and other USask sites (SRS specific) are correct and up to date with ongoing review to ensure clarity and accuracy of information.
- Create and maintain a robust photo and video library for admissions recruitment, promotion, and marketing activities.
- Collaborate with the Communications and Strategic Initiatives Coordinator, SRS communications team, and USask central recruitment and seek membership on university committees, such as the Recruitment Advisory Committee and Recruitment Community Forum.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation professional stakeholder groups both provincially and nationally to develop and participate in mutually beneficial programs.
- Track, analyze and report outcomes and statistics related to student recruitment and longer-term strategic goals related to recruitment.
- Travel outside of Saskatoon to attend student recruitment events and activities may be required.

- Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the SRS admissions requirements and policies
- Interpret and communicate admissions requirements and policies to prospective students and other relevant stakeholders
- Evaluate and enhance the applicant experience to foster a positive experience.
- Assist with on-going evaluative research and scholarly work carried out by the admissions team.
- Administrative support_
- Assist with special projects as needed, including but not limited to:

- Support Mental Health First Aid Training: manage codes, reimbursements, participant tracking, and virtual session logistics.
- Provide communications support using Mailchimp : build newsletters, track engagement, and analyze performance metrics.
- Provide administrative support to nistotamawin circle (formerly Indigenous Engagement Working Group) (i.e., circulating meeting agendas and minutes)
- Provide administrative support to Indigenous Initiatives Coordinator (i.e., budgeting, reimbursements, room booking, meeting invites, catering, send communications to students, staff and faculty, etc.)
- General equipment maintenance and assist with equipment maintenance records

**Education**: Undergraduate degree required. Post-secondary education in marketing or communications is an asset.

**Experience**: A minimum of three years of university level experience working with graduate students is preferred. Familiarity with post-secondary admissions and recruitment would be an asset. E
