**Continuing Education in Rehabilitation Science - Physical Therapy Curriculum Planner**:
The Continuing Education in Rehabilitation Science - Physical Therapy Curriculum Planner is a casual position that will work on rehabilitation science specific projects as assigned. This role is casual in nature, with work not expected to exceed 8 hours per week or 416 hours per year. The specialist will work independently and report directly to the Continuing Education in Rehabilitation Science (CERS) Director.

**Primary Purpose**: The Physical Therapy Curriculum Planner will work with CERS to design and deliver physical therapy informed continuing education projects.

**Nature of Work**: This position reports to the Program Director of CERS. The work includes curriculum development and delivery services to support CERS programming and assist in meeting strategic priorities. This position requires the ability to work independently and at times under pressure in a fast-paced environment, multitasking to balance tasks of program development and delivery, as well as community and stakeholder engagement. They are expected to make independent decisions regarding course or conference curriculum, design and content development using evidence informed and clinical decision-making expertise.

Effective communication with community health care practitioners and administrators, faculty and staff of the School of Rehabilitation Science, provincial and national stakeholders will be essential. Evenings and weekends may be required for course delivery purposes.

This position will be a hybrid position, primarily working remotely with occasional requirements for on-site support for in-person events.

**Typical Duties or Accountabilities**:

- Contribute to learner needs assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational activities that support the program’s mandate
- Lead and maintain effective communication and relationships in interprofessional settings
- Effectively coordinate and communicate programming needs with CERS program director and administrative personnel to ensure programming needs that meet CERS and SRS strategic plans
- Maintain knowledge about current evidence-informed educational approaches to ensure programming is consistent with evidence-based practice and current standards of care for physical therapists and rehabilitation science professionals

Support at times lead activities related to CERS program development, research, and communication.

**Education**: Entry to practice Physical Therapy degree and eligibility for licensure with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists. Membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) is an asset. Graduate level education is an asset.

**Licenses**: As above

**Experience**:

- Minimum five years of experience as a physical therapist
- Leadership or senior level experience is an asset
- Previous teaching experience and experience in a continuing education environment preferred
- Familiarity with online or other distributed teaching methods is an asset
