**Responsibilities**:

- Provide superior customer service and support Lady York Foods vision of the best fresh shopping experience.
- Effectively communicate with team, coaching, training and enforcing procedures and policies.
- Supervise and coordinate with employees in their various duties to effectively operate the Deli Department with attention to quality customer service.
- Schedule and assign work for associates on a daily basis.
- Order, receive and manage available stock and display counters ensuring that products are of the highest quality.
- Comply with all corporate policies, especially as they relate to Health and Safety, Food Safety and safe equipment use.
- Perform designated opening and closing procedures and mentor and assist other team members as requested.
- Organize and communicate weekly sales items.
- May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Superior customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Required to lift, carry or handle some heavy objects.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a deli dept. in a retail environment, preferably in a manager role.
- Ability to work with a high standard for quality and cleanliness.
- Ability to lead a team with clear and effective communication style.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
