Nature's Emporium, a leading organic grocery store, is opening our first downtown Toronto location. We're seeking dynamic individuals to join our team and make a positive impact on the local community.

In this position, you'll be part of the launch of our newest store in downtown Toronto. You'll join a successful company and establish our brand in the vibrant city center.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli/Meat Supervisor to join our team As the Deli/Meat Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the deli and meat department, ensuring exceptional customer service, product quality, and departmental efficiency.
- Manage all aspects of the deli and meat department, including ordering, inventory management, pricing, and product displays.
- Monitor product quality, ensuring compliance with organic and sustainable standards, and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked department, following all health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong customer-centric approach.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Assist customers in selecting high-quality deli and meat products, providing information on organic and sustainable practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall shopping experience and cross-promote relevant products.
- Monitor product expiration dates and implement proper rotation techniques to minimize waste.
- Optimize departmental productivity by streamlining processes, implementing effective systems, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Follow all relevant food safety regulations and maintain accurate records.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a deli or meat department, preferably in an organic grocery store.
- Knowledge of organic and sustainable food practices, including product sourcing, labeling, and certifications.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for providing an outstanding shopping experience.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
