Flight Basketball Academy is actively seeking passionate, community-minded coaches who are eager to give back through sport. Whether you’re a former athlete, experienced coach, or someone who simply wants to make a difference, we invite you to join a program built on mentorship, growth, and impact.

**Open Coaching Roles**:
**1. Skills Academy Coach**
- **Grades**: Kindergarten to Grade 7
- **Schedule**: Saturdays between 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- **Commitment**: 1x per week
- **Focus**: Foundational skills, movement, and fun

**2. Flight Prep Team Coaches**
- **Divisions**: U11 to U18
- **Schedule**: 2-3 sessions per week
- **Seasons**:

- September to November (Junior Varsity & Varsity)
- September to February (Senior teams)
- **Roles Available**: Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches
- **Focus**: Team development, game strategy, travel tournaments, post-secondary pathways

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Coaches who are passionate about giving back to the community
- Strong basketball knowledge and leadership skills
- Positive energy, accountability, and consistency
- Prior coaching or playing experience (preferred but not required)
- Availability for evenings/weekends
- **Must be able to provide a valid Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $15.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
