As the Team Leader, Exam Operations, you will lead, mentor, and coach the exam operations team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and teamwork. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering onboarding, training, and integration for team members, ensuring they have clear direction on their roles and responsibilities, while fostering ongoing growth and providing the support necessary to drive their success.

**What you’ll do**
- Lead, mentor, and coach the exam operations team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Plan and deliver onboarding, training, and integration for team members, ensuring clear direction on roles and responsibilities and effective support within the team. Drive alignment of team goals with departmental and organizational objectives, ensuring that responsibilities are effectively prioritized, and resources are optimally allocated to achieve outcomes.
- Enhance team performance through regular feedback, coaching, and annual reviews, focusing on clear development plans that drive individual and team growth while aligning with organizational values.
- Cultivate continuous professional development by mentoring staff to reach their full potential, fostering a culture of growth.
- Establish and nurture effective working relationships with staff across the Assessment Department and cross-functionally within the MCC, as well as external partners at exam sites, to ensure the successful delivery of the exam program.
- Implement and oversee logistics and administrative processes related to the delivery of exams.
- Ensure business continuity and conduct cross-training as necessary, while communicating status updates, risks, and escalations to the PM.
- Analyze post-exam reports and surveys to provide data-driven recommendations for improvements to policies, procedures, and operational plans.
**What you need to succeed**
**Experience**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory/leadership role
- Minimum 5 years’ experience operational or project experience
- Experience in the assessment or healthcare industries, an asset
- Experience managing relationships with vendors and monitoring vendor operations/performance, an asset.
**Technical Skills**
- Experience managing complex business processes
- Skill in managing project and operational timelines
- Strong technical proficiency, including experience with systems management, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Working knowledge of AI tools and technologies, with the ability to integrate AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making
- Familiarity with exam management systems and data-driven decision-making processes
- Experience in a high-stakes, standardized testing environment strongly preferred
**Competencies**
- Proven leadership and people management experience, with effective communication skills
- Strong time management abilities, prioritizing critical tasks while maintaining high service levels and attention to detail
- Skilled in consensus-based decision-making
- Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborating with diverse teams
- Strong conflict resolution, diplomacy, and the ability to work autonomously with integrity
- Effective vendor management skills
- Solution-focused with strong judgment, initiative, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage shifting priorities, often under pressure and to deadlines
**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Education, Health, or another related field
**Language**
- Advanced oral and written skills in English are required, with oral and written skills in French considered an asset
