**Exam Application Coordinator**
**Full time permanent**
**Ottawa, Ontario, Canada**

**Hybrid role**

The Exam Application Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring exam day readiness of the multiple systems and that they are configured correctly to ensure that data extracted from the system post-exam meets the needs of the consumers of the data. They provide technical support regarding exam/assessment preparation, delivery, administration, and post exam/assessment activities. In addition, this role supports the testing and troubleshooting of systems issues.

**What you’ll do**:

- Administers user access including permission levels to the Practice Test Portal, Progress Test Portal, and Item/Form Review systems.
- Completes and validates the Test Requirements Document (TRD) with the Exam Operations and Administration Team. Consults with Assessments Team, as required.
- Conducts QA/testing for session set-up. Runs mock tests. Ensures data systems and outputs are configured properly and sends to Assessments Content Development Team.
- Supports the Analyst to schedule periodic system maintenance.
- Raises new functionality requirements and/or enhancements to the Analyst/Team Leader.
- Works with the Exam Application Analyst to modify protocols for testing exam systems.
- Supports system testing after vendor maintenance/enhancements.
- Participates in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Oversight of end-to-end system workflows (e.g., scanning and receipt of exam data) and escalates to Team Lead/Program Manager as required.
- Loads exam data files into Teleform software.

**What you need to succeed**:
**Experience**:

- Experience in performing User Acceptance Testing and documenting results
- Experience importing/exporting data in systems (data manipulation)

**Technical Skills**:

- Experience in executing test plans, test strategies, test cases/scripts
- Proficiency in the use of new technologies, early adopter and keen to learn
- Demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

**Competencies**:

- Demonstrated written and verbal communication experience, working with clients
- Must demonstrate strong critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills
- Ability to work on multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to prioritize conflicting demands
- Ability to execute assigned project tasks within established schedule
- Ability to work both independently as well as in team settings within a fast-paced, multifaceted environment

**Education**:

- Post-secondary education in Business, Administration, I.T or other relevant fields

**Language**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; bilingualism in French is considered an asset
