**Office Administrator**

Zavosh Consulting Inc. is a professional consulting engineering firm specialized in building science and project management for new and existing buildings including residential, commercial and institutional. We provide quality consulting engineering services to strata councils, property managers, architectural firms, developers, government agencies, private owners and contractors.

ZCI is actively seeking to fill a Full-Time Office Administrator position at our office in the Kitsilano area of Vancouver.

The position entails working with our team of Engineers/Project Consultants to manage all administrative functions of the office.

Qualifications must include:

- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to prioritize job tasks
- Attention to details
- Basic bookkeeping skills

Administrative duties will include:

- Dicta-typing (using a dictation transcriber):

- Reports
- Letters
- Minutes of meetings
- Memos
- Preparing:

- Contract documents
- Specifications
- Contract administrative documents, such as change orders, certificates for payment
- Proposals
- Receiving phone calls
- Receiving and sending out mail
- Scanning documents
- Greeting clients and contractors
- Maintaining files
- Ordering office supplies
- Registering consultants in tradeshows and seminars

Bookkeeping duties will include:

- Payroll cheques
- Invoicing
- Paying bills
- Preparing and maintaining spreadsheets for income and expenses for tax purposes
- Monthly coordination with Accountant to prepare source deduction cheques to Receiver General
