**Role**
The Office Administrator will perform administrative office management duties and provide support to executives, management and staff with flexibility and foresight in a fast-paced evolving environment while maintaining confidence related to high-level systems and operations.
The Office Administrator will be based out of the Vancouver office and will report to the VP of Accounting and Administration. Upon the separation of the Company into two separate entities, the Office Administrator will remain with Lithium Americas (Argentina) and report to the Chief Financial Officer.
**Responsibilities**
Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff.
Performs office tasks including maintaining records, performing some basic bookkeeping, monitoring and ordering supplies, maintaining common areas of office.
Assist with new employee onboarding and offboarding including office security access (keyfobs), set up of employee profile, new employee announcements, emergency contact information, etc.
Organize employee functions including informal and formal gatherings/meetings.
After separation of the companies, act as contact for building services with the landlord for the office premises, including management of access keys (keyfobs, office keys, etc.)
After separation of the companies, act as administrator for company intranet site.
Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the executives, management and/or other senior staff.
Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for senior staff.
Arranges travel and accommodations for executives.
Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of executives, taking notes and recording minutes.

Performs additional duties as assigned by executives.
**Requirements**:
Four (4) or more years of experience providing administrative support.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual is preferred
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
Able to type minimum of 50 words per minute.
Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software and Sharepoint, with the willingness and ability to learn new or updated software.
