At Tsunami Water Solutions our commitment and goal are to protect the health and safety of all employees, clients, property, the environment and the public. We specialize in high volume water transfer, water sourcing and equipment rentals in the Oil and Gas Industry.
**Job description**
Tsunami Water Solutions is a new and fast-growing water transfer company located in Red Deer, AB. We are currently looking to add an additional position to our expanding team with competitive wages and a great work atmosphere. Water moving experience is a requirement for this position.
**Job responsibilities**:
- Provide direct administrative and office management support to all members of the operations team, as directed.
- Scouting water jobs from the source to the lease
- Providing detailed line suggestions/layouts
- Generating required equipment lists for water transfer
- Dispatching men and equipment as necessary to execute water jobs
- Completing and submitting field tickets to customer
- Read and understand all applicable regulatory permits as required for moving water
- Willing to enforce company policies and procedures at the field level
- Procure resources, manage and track third-party suppliers for operations, and set up supplier accounts and rental rates as required.
- Complete expense reports, review invoices, and other related duties
- Working with the Operations Team and Mechanics to monitor and manage maintenance schedules on all field equipment.
- Assist and cooperate with the HSE team to ensure regulations relating to health, safety and the environment are adhered to;
- Work with the HSE team to ensure that all required training and safety certificates are up to date.
- Provide ongoing support to all project stakeholders Field supervisors, Consultants, Clients, and Contractors.
- This position works a Monday-Friday schedule.
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test successfully, and company road test; if required
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Experienced in long line water transfer
- Eager to work in a high paced atmosphere
- Flexible and willing to adapt to last-minute changes
- Organized and meticulous in your tasks
- Ability to read and interpret plans, elevations and pump curves
- Desire to seek out the most efficient and effective way to solve problems and complete tasks.
- Ability to think quickly, make decisions, and direct Tsunami Water Solutions Ltd. personnel as needed.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to call clients to discuss concerns
- Strong sense of urgency and follow-through to make sure our tasks are completed correctly, on time
- Strong problem solving and communication skills required, with the ability to revise plans based on changing priorities to ensure all commitments are met.
- Proficient computer skills using Microsoft systems (Excel, Word, Adobe PDF).
- A team player that works well with others
- Willing to spend a small amount of time on the road and in the field
- Up to date on all applicable safety tickets, ie: H2S, First Aid, CSO, etc.
- Able to work some evenings, weekends, and overtime as required
