**Responsibilities**:
PRIMARY PURPOSE

Provides a wide range of organizational development (OD) programs and services for the TransLink enterprise, including such areas as leadership development, succession planning, executive coaching, mentorship, employee and team development, workforce planning metrics and psychometric assessments. Delivers advice and analytical support to all levels of the business across the enterprise. Provides technical guidance to OD support staff.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Conducts enterprise needs analysis processes to identify organizational development requirements, document findings, and make recommendations to the Senior OD Advisor, Manager, HR Leadership and client groups.

Provides specialized advice on development and implementation of enterprise organizational development programs in accordance with approved plans, overseeing consultants as required. Also monitors and assesses existing program effectiveness, identifying opportunities for enhancement.

Carries out design and delivery of exempt employee engagement surveys across the enterprise, overseeing consultants as required. Performs post-survey analysis, summarizing findings and recommendations. Provides specialized advice on creation of action plans, which may also involve leading program development activities.

Provides advice, consultation and direction to management and staff on OD initiatives and opportunities to address individual and group development needs. Includes coaching and mentoring management on employee and team development.

Participates in OD initiatives, such as those related to culture change, performance and development planning, team building, and workforce planning. Assists in developing methods and tools, analyzing data, and identifying trends and risks.

Researches and analyzes best practice, trends and methods; develops and maintains a clear understanding of TransLink’s strategic and operational priorities, including the climate and culture; provides related recommendations in support of program development activities. Also provides input to development of policies, practices and processes for OD programs and services.

Provides input into the development of departmental goals and plans, and makes recommendations related to departmental initiatives.

Provides technical guidance to OD support staff

**Qualifications**:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The requirements for this job are typically acquired through a degree in human resources, psychology or organizational behavior, and four years of related experience. Working towards a masters and Executive Coaching Certification are definite assets.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Solid knowledge of the theories, principles, practices and techniques pertaining to the organization development field, with emphasis on leadership and employee development, including ability in leadership development, executive coaching, succession planning, and employee engagement, and related statistical analysis

Solid interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate needs analysis processes, collaborate with others on program development, and to provide advice and consultation to management and staff

Solid skills in coaching, mentorship and culture change

Solid research and analytical skills to keep relevant with best practice/trend research and other program

Solid problem solving and decision making skills to deal with obstacles during program development and implementation

Solid understanding of management in a unionized workplace

**Other Information**:
Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

37.5 hours per week.
