Responsible for supervising the manufacturing and installation of computer or computer-related equipment and components.

**Major Job Duties**:

- Test and image desktops and laptops. Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot, software and computer peripherals.
- Ability to setup, configure and add all hardware.
- Assist Corporate Desk Side Support technicians with large IMACs.
- Assure that all tickets requiring follow up work and/or calls receive appropriate attention.
- Provide technical support to end users via telephone.
- Back up and burn end user data.
- Assist in developing and documenting improvements to current processes.
- Assist coworkers in resolution of end users technical issues.
- Assist coworkers in the execution of established processes and escalations.
- Test, image and clean PCs, laptop, monitors, printers, and other related hardware.

**Education/Experience**:

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 to 4 years of hands on technical knowledge of laptop and desktop design and software installation required.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Possess 1 to 2 years experience in a break/fix environment.
- Able to lift and palletize heavy equipment. (PCs, monitors, printers.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required

**Duties/Description**:

- Image laptops with Windows 10/11
- install/upgrade laptops with RAM, SSD
- Basic knowledge of BIOS configuration and setup and how to boot from USB
- perform troubleshooting on Windows OS 10/11.
- Know how to check Microsoft event viewer to check for errors
- Fix and diagnose problems with Outlook connectivity, not working, freezing.
- Troubleshoot WiFi, network connections, VPN problems
- Basic network, TCP/IP, ping commands is mandatory
- Able to troubleshoot and fix printer issues, cloud printing
- Collect logs for support team
- BitLocker key encryption recovery, setup and configuration
- Windows password resets, VPN password resets using AD
- Basic knowledge of AD will help
- Check documentation for process and instructions
- Be comfortable to work alone and part of a team
- Able to work within deadlines and time constraints
- Ability to work under pressure due to deadlines and project constraints
- Troubleshoot and fix hardware and software problems
- Strong communication skills is a must to work with multiple techs and teams
- Receive and ship out boxes, small and large. Packing laptops.
- must be able to lift heavy packages - 20Kg

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $24.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Desktop support: 4 years (preferred)
- Software troubleshooting: 4 years (preferred)
- Network installation: 4 years (preferred)
- break/fix: 3 years (preferred)
- Windows Remote Desktop: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CompTIA A+ (preferred)
