Priority Logistics Inc. is an asset-based intermodal service provider with offices across Canada. We offer Intermodal and over the road LTL/TL service from all the points within Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec.

A dispatcher is responsible for managing all aspects of shipping routes and delivery, as well as scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments.

Additionally, a dispatcher is well-versed in supply management as well as transportation principles and practices. Responding immediately to customer questions and complaints and notifying them of any delays in the pickup and delivery schedule is essential to this position.

At-least 1 - 2 years experience is required in dispatching

Your regular work week will be Monday-Friday but you are to handle weekend/holidays as well. You must be able to work if another employee has time off.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- **Schedule pick up and delivery appointments**:

- **Track shipments that are assigned.**:

- **Knowledge of GTA is mandatory**:

- **Must be able to dispatch 25-30 tractors within the GTA**

**Required Education**:
**Post Secondary Degree is preferred**

**Skills and Abilities Required**:

- **Motivated and show initiative with the ability to learn quickly, and work with mínimal **supervision.**:

- **Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment**:

- **Willingness to adapt and adjust, strong multi-task skills and shows an ability to work in **a fast-paced environment when required.**:

- **Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize**:

- **Strives to be a highly efficient team player with a positive personality**:

- **Working knowledge of all North American transportation services; LTL, TL, Intermodal **and highway transportation modes.**:

- **Intermodal experience (dealing with CN Rail and CP Rail is an asset)**:

- **Excellent command of English (both written and verbal)**:

- **Working knowledge of TMW/Truckmate is an asset**:

- **Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)**:

- **Typing speed of 65 WPM (test will be taken)**:

- **Familiar with the GTA and surrounding area (knowledge of Montreal is an asset)**

**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year
