**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely delivery of freight.
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and optimize routes.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to resolve issues and provide updates.
- Analyze shipping and receiving data to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including documentation for shipping and receiving processes.
- Handle phone systems professionally, addressing inquiries with courtesy and clarity.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations across all departments.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes within the logistics industry.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions regarding transportation logistics.
- Experience with transportation management systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to type efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of 3PL operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and supply chain management principles.
- Demonstrated phone etiquette skills for professional interactions.
