Northern Gold Foods is a leading manufacturer of a wide range of healthy great tasting breakfast and snack food products. Our Port Coquitlam facility is currently seeking an **HR/Payroll Administrator**to join our team.
- **As part of your role, you will**:_
- Use Payworks to process bi-weekly hourly payroll for 185 staff in BC & Ontario including electronic timesheet review for completeness/accuracy, adding/removing staff and maintenance of employee profiles
- Perform additional payroll reporting/tracking including turnover, overtime, vacation, WorkSafeBC reporting
- Reconcile payroll register and prepare journal entry for accounting
- Maintain hardcopy personnel records
- Maintain group benefit plan: adding, removing, changes, communication with staff
- Assist with hourly staff recruiting including placing employment ads, screening, interviewing, reference checking and new hire orientation
- Other payroll and benefits related tasks as required
- **What we’re looking for**:_
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills including Office 365 suite and Adobe
- Precise data entry skills, excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- **Compensation**:_
- Salary based on experience
