Summary of the position: The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of material logistics, ensuring timely delivery of products to job sites while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position will report to General Manager. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of products to construction sites across Canada & USA. - Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement and availability of materials. - Maintain accurate records of shipments and delivery schedules. - Monitor transportation costs and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during transportation and handling of materials. - Resolve any logístical issues, delays, or discrepancies in a timely manner. - Collaborate with the operations and project management teams to forecast material requirements. - Assist in preparing logistics reports and performance metrics for management. Qualifications: - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the construction or building materials industry. - Strong understanding of transportation, inventory management, and supply chain processes. - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. - Knowledge of Canadian and US delivery regulations is an asset.
