**Fuzion Flooring - Lead Hand (FULL TIME)**

**Reporting to - Warehouse Supervisor**

The Lead Hand organizes and monitors the receiving, shipping, storage and distribution of all items received either from suppliers, vendors and/or the Manufacturing Department. The incumbent will ensure a smooth and consistent operation, and that parts and supplies are located and distributed in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

**Duties Include**:

- Coordinating outbound and inbound material movement to meet supply chain requirements including inventory accuracy, minimizing write-offs, and new product introductions.
- Oversee and participate in loading and unloading of shipments and communicate respective information to all internal departments/employees as required.
- Coordinating warehouse operators.
- Professional in person customer facing and service, communicates effectively.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure continued compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, company safety rules and Good Safety Practices
- Checking orders, packing slips, BOL’s, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing necessary documentation.
- Supporting inventory control.
- Providing innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives to upgrade the department.
- Duties and responsibilities may be amended from time to time in order to support efficient company operations.

**Knowledge & Skills Required**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Lead Hand or similar position preferred.
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in shipping, receiving and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.
- Current stand-up reach and counterbalance (propane and electric) operator’s license
- Use of RF scanners for performing - Picking, Receiving, and Logistics functions in a warehouse environment
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and or as part of a team.
- Proactive and established style with proven success in achieving results.
- Experience using SAP B1 is an asset.
