We are looking for a Lead Hand for our Metal Shop.

**As a working Lead Hand you will be required to**:

- Assign work details and duties to machinist.
- Communicate timelines and adhere to production goals regarding due dates and ship times.
- Provide expertise and instruct on different techniques.
- Communicate design issues and time sensitive changes.
- Inspect work in progress and ensure completed products meet required standards and deadlines.
- Interpret complex shop drawings and documents.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

**Who we are looking for**:

- 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication
- Experience in trade show and museum fabrication is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and craftmanship.
- Ability to TIG weld
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead hand role.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to prioritize, handle multiple tasks and work well with deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
