Uniforms Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Coordinator Uniforms is the primary team member facing role within the Uniform team. Responsible for the fitting and distribution of uniform garments to Porter team members. This position places a high emphasis on customer service and organizational skills. Along with these responsibilities the Coordinator will also help maintain appropriate inventory levels and liaise with Porter management and others to ensure all team members have the right tools to look and feel their best at work.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversees the fitting and distribution of uniform pieces to Porter staff located in the US and Canada in a timely manner
- Maintains records of all team members and their uniform allotment; ensures all team members receive uniform pieces in a timely manner
- Responsible for on boarding presentations to new hires
- Responsible for validating alterations’ cost approval via Coupa expense platform
- Primary source for maintaining and communicating uniform standards and proper care guidelines
- Responsible for Porter uniform room and inventory located therein, as well as merchandizing showroom to Porter brand standards
- Assists in developing reports for and communicating inventory levels throughout Porter network
- ** Ensures electronic inventory control system is accurate and up to date**:
- Maintains records of all employees and their uniform allotment
- Responsible for coordination dry cleaning & alterations orders
- Maintains uniform standards and proper care guidelines
- Responds to all customer calls and requests in a quick and courteous manner
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve the overall uniform department, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide superior quality seamless customer service
- Responsible for “on loan” inventory
- Proactively anticipates business needs to ensure all uniform needs are met in a timely manner
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy

Qualifications:
- **College diploma or equivalent**:
- ** Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer service position**:
- ** Experience working with perpetual inventory systems is an asset**:
- ** A combination of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted**:
- ** Accuracy with data entry**:
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS-Office products including Outlook, Excel, & Word
- Proficiency in Google suite.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to carry garment bags
- Ability to push/pull up to 50lbs
