**Position Title: Temporary Administrative Office Assistant**

**Department: Administrative Team**

**The Role**

The **Temporary Administrative Office Assistant** will serve as an integral member of the Administration Department. The individual will work collaboratively with the team.

The Administrative Office Assistant will be responsible for taking initiative and ownership in facilitating successful administrative practices for the whole firm. The individual will be reliable, organized, adaptable, positive and an enthusiastic team member who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with opening/sorting/processing and delivery of incoming & outgoing mail
- Courier preparation and call-ins for pick up
- Completion of daily deposit, Visa and MasterCard payment processing
- Bank/post-office runs
- Electronic archiving and rolling forward of client files
- Inventory, organization and ordering of office/kitchen/coffee supplies
- Hospitality duties
- Reception coverage: during daily coffee and lunch breaks, sick days and vacation
- Back-up for assembly/e-filing department when required and miscellaneous requests
- Communication with all Firm members, clients and third-party vendors.

**Qualifications**
- 1 - 5 years of administrative experience working in an administrative support role.
- Experience in a professional setting would be an asset.
- A diploma in Office Administration or Legal Assistance would be an asset.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge and experience working in CaseWare and Tax Prep would be an asset.
- Previous experience in a public practice environment would be an asset
