Silk and Snow is a Toronto-based e-commerce company that offers thoughtfully designed bedding products with a frictionless customer experience. We are a small and highly collaborative team, looking to add a passionate, creative team member to join our marketing department as a Content Specialist.

**This role requires 2-3 days in the office at 670 Caledonia Rd Unit 200, Toronto, ON M6E 4V9.**

**What You'll Do**:

- Support key initiatives within Silk & Snow’s growth strategy for both organic and paid social media platforms
- Conceptualize, create, edit and manage visually compelling photo and video content for the Silk & Snow brand specifically optimized for use on Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, Tiktok, etc.
- Support the growth of various Sleep Country Canada brands (Endy, Casper Canada, Silk & Snow) with marketing content across multiple platforms
- Stay up-to-date on new social media tools, content techniques, and best practices; monitor competitors and other social media leaders to see how we can adapt for Silk & Snow
- Engage with our audience as on-camera talent or through voice-over
- Grasp the unique brand identity and tone of the company and adapt it as appropriate for each platform
- Be on set during video and photo shoots to capture behind-the-scenes content
- Observe and respond to comments and feedback on published content, engaging with the audience as needed

**Who You Are**:

- 1-3+ years of work in social media marketing and content marketing
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or experience
- Direct experience in growing a following on social media on behalf, of mid-size, startup or personal brand
- Savvy and knowledgeable in social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Linkedin, YouTube, and more
- Proven ability to be highly creative and innovative, including experience developing engaging social content
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform social media strategy and decision-making
- Experience with social media advertising platforms, such as Facebook Ads ManageStrong time management and communication skills
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A team player with a strong sense of initiative with the ability to work independently on tasks, as well as part of a team
- Sharp visual ete with working knowledge of graphic design tools (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva)
- Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset
