Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Office Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Construction Manager and department. Key attributes include exercising good judgment, initiative, and the ability to multi-task. Duties include general clerical and project-based work.
**What You Will Do Here**:
- Perform general clerical duties; daily documentation, filing, mailing, and typing.
- Prepare MS PowerPoint presentations, packages, binding, and handout packages.
- Suggest and implement improved work methods and systems relating to administrative tasks.
- Provide administrative and clerical support with speed and accuracy.
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Prolonged sedentary positioning.
- Assist with client meetings.
- Administers office and safety supplies, stationary.
- Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.
**What You Bring To The Team**:
- Strong computer skills; MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Attention to detail, can accurately input data and record keep.
- Must be able to deal with sensitive customer issues in a confidential manner.
- Strong communication skills, dealing tactfully with employees, visitors, and customers.
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
- Experience with prioritizing tasks, work to timelines.
- Ability to work independently.
- French Speaking is an asset
- Minimum 2 years of office related experience.
