Operations & Sales Coordinator

**Job Summary**
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented **Operations & Sales Coordinator** to manage our day-to-day logistics and help drive sales growth. This hybrid role is essential to ensuring smooth operations while also playing a key part in increasing bookings and promoting our services to new and returning customers.
**Duties**
- Operations Coordination:_
- Manage daily sightseeing and hiking tour operations, including pickups and drop-offs in Canmore, Harvie Heights, and Banff.
- Create and monitor weekly schedules to assign guides and vehicles to our tour program.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure all vehicles are safe, clean, and operational.
- Communicate with guides and management to address real-time operational needs or challenges.
- Sales and Guest Engagement:_
- Actively promote and upsell tours, packages, and additional services to maximize revenue.
- Identify opportunities to reach new customers and collaborate on marketing campaigns to boost bookings.
- Build strong relationships with guests to encourage repeat business and positive reviews.
- Problem Solving:_
- Quickly address and resolve operational issues such as delays, cancellations, or guest concerns.
- Anticipate potential disruptions and implement solutions to maintain seamless operations.
- Administrative Support:_
- Process bookings, payments, and maintain accurate records in our system.
- Monitor sales performance and report on key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with inventory management of supplies and tour-related equipment.
- Utilize current software programs/apps to manage bookings, guide schedules, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Collaborate with team members to improve operational processes and enhance customer experience.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in operations, logistics, or a related field (experience in the tourism or transportation industry is an asset).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A sales background is an advantage.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of the Canadian Rockies and surrounding areas is highly desirable.
- Valid class 4 driver’s license and clean driving record.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 4-5 months
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
