**ROLE SUMMARY**

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced **Science Specialist** to join our team at Centre Camp. As a Science Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to inspire young campers through fun, hands-on science experiments and activities. Your role will focus on sparking curiosity and making science exciting and accessible, all while ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan and lead interactive science sessions tailored to various age groups.
- Teach basic scientific principles through fun experiments, demonstrations, and challenges.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that encourages exploration and critical thinking.
- Supervise campers during science activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Adapt lesson plans and materials to meet the needs and interests of different campers.
- Collaborate with camp staff to support overall camp programming and spirit.
- Maintain and organize science materials, ensuring supplies are used responsibly and areas are kept tidy.
- Communicate positively and professionally with campers, parents, and fellow staff.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Background in science, education, or a related field (students in relevant programs welcome).
- Previous experience working with children in a camp, school, or recreational setting.
- Ability to make science fun, hands-on, and engaging for campers of all ages.
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Experience designing or leading science activities is an asset.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for teaching.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: $1,700.00-$2,200.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
