As an **Office Manager** at Da Vinci Centre, you play a pivotal role in executing flawless events. Your responsibilities extend from pre-event planning to post-event evaluation, ensuring that every function exceeds our clients' expectations. The **Office Manager** is a key liaison between clients, event coordinators, and the operational team, coordinating the seamless execution of events hosted at our venue.
**Event Coordination**
1. Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, including preferences, special requests, and logístical details
2. Conduct pre-event meetings with clients to finalize details and address any concerns
3. Prepare and organize **Banquet Event Orders (BEO)** for weddings, conferences, conventions, seminars, meetings, large group gatherings, and other special events
4. Plan and organize all banquet aspects, from room setup to audiovisual requirements, in accordance with client specifications and company standards.
**Staff Management**
1. Recruit, train, and supervise banquet staff, ensuring a high level of professionalism and service
2. Create and manage staff schedules, assigning tasks and responsibilities for each event
3. Provide guidance and support to banquet staff during events, maintaining a positive and efficient work environment
**Operations and Logistics**
1. Oversee the setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and timing standards
2. Coordinate with the Chef/Kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage services
3. Manage inventory of banquet supplies, equipment, and linens.
**Qualifications**:
1. Min 3 years experience in a management role within the hospitality industry
2. Proficiency in event management software and **Microsoft Office Suite**
3. Strong organizational and multitasking skills
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
5. Knowledge of banquet operations, event planning, and catering services
6. Familiarity with health and safety regulations
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
