Below is the Manager position description...Send us your resume and lets talk. - Effectively and efficiently manage a restaurant within the policies and guidelines of Gringo Restaurants to ensure customer satisfaction and profit maximization. - Manage and lead staff, delegating responsibilities, scheduling, disciplining, evaluating, hiring, training, and administrative duties as needed, liaising with HR and HR Policies. - Ensures the proper staffing of the restaurant with professional and high caliber KPI. Identify, educate, and develop KPI for future leadership roles. - Addressing customer complaints and feedback in a professional and proactive manner. - Execute budgetary responsibilities including but not limited to; forecasting (internal & external), profit & loss accountability, cost control, inventories, and just in time purchasing. - Develop and implement programs with the marketing department that actively drives restaurant sales and promotes the restaurant through LSM "grass roots" marketing and external/internal promotions. - Ensure maintenance of equipment, facility and grounds through the use of preventative maintenance programs and observing staff use of said equipment. - Ensure adherence to local health/fire and safety codes, and Gringo Restaurant’s safety and security policies are met as well as maintain a good standing with VCH. - Ensure policies are up-to-date with Public Health Orders, as required. - Adhere to all related liquor laws and policies as dictated by the Province of BC and the Liquor Board. - Ensure FIFO is being maintained for both kitchen and bar. - Ensure food and beverage product freshness and quality is maintained. - Accurately track and report all QSA, Promo, Spill and Waste. - Ensure accurate reporting, including NSR and Commissary orders. - Liquor orders. - The ability to motivate, train, and create a fun and progressive working environment while upholding Gringo Restaurant’s standards. - Maintain effective communication and coordination with senior management to ensure that policies and procedures are upheld within your department. - Ensure the in-store atmosphere (music and lighting) is relevant to the Gringo brand, time of day and/or general mood of the room. - Maintain overall cleanliness of the room as outlined in daily, weekly and monthly checklists. - Maintain effective communication and coordination with senior management to ensure that policies and procedures are upheld. - Resolve and report all repair and security issues to senior management. - Act as first point of contact for all in-store maintenance, repair, vendor and services. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Extended health care Schedule: - Day shift - Night shift Supplemental pay types: - Tips Ability to commute/relocate: - Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Licence/Certification: - drivers license (preferred) - Serving It Right (preferred) - Food Safe Level 1 (preferred)
