Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our bustling dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a vibrant team, ensure food safety standards, and create a welcoming environment for guests. Previous experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or hotel settings is highly valued. The Restaurant Manager will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of food quality, service excellence, and operational efficiency.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including interviewing and training new team members
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Monitor food safety compliance and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
  • Coordinate food service activities to optimize efficiency during peak hours
  • Supervise inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs
  • Implement staff schedules and manage team management responsibilities effectively
  • Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests
  • Assist in developing marketing strategies to promote the restaurant's brand and offerings

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
  • Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
  • Knowledge of food industry regulations, food handling procedures, and kitchen operations
  • Leadership qualities with experience in interviewing, training, and team management
  • Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
