Single Women In Motherhood (S.W.I.M.) Training Program is a not-for-profit organization that supports single mothers in achieving their full financial, emotional, and intellectual potential. SWIM has been a pillar in the London Middlesex Community for almost 20 years and has worked with over 1,000 single mothers. As a not-for-profit agency SWIM relies on the commitment and dedication of its volunteers. SWIM is now looking to expand its team of Volunteers

Position Description:
As volunteer coordinator you will be responsible for the recruitment of volunteers. You will be in charge of interviewing potential volunteers, perform reference checks and gather all necessary documentation for hire. You will be responsible for providing general training for volunteers and performing performance evaluations when necessary. Other duties include, following up with volunteer duties and maintaining volunteer intake procedures.

Position Requirements:

- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Recruitment experience an asset, not required
- Interpersonal skills, leadership skills, problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with Google Drive, Gmail, Microsoft Office, internet browsers
