**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative and technical support to the Fire Chief and Administrative Division using corporate and departmental procedures, policies and standard operating guidelines.
- Manage Administrative Division; assess and provide work direction, schedule work activities/meetings, and support divisional recruitment, training and developmental needs.
- Create and maintain policies and procedures for fire administration.
- Administration of records management programs, office management duties, space planning projects, asset management, telecommunications, time and attendance tracking, accounting and divisional budgeting.
- Manage office supply purchasing, reconciliation of department procurement card statements, and coordination and submission of part-time firefighter attendance and payroll for processing
- Perform a variety of technical administration using FDM Database for records management, Computer Aided Dispatch program, Clarizen for project management, WorkDay HRIS as well as E-Solutions, Burn Permits and Form Builder management.
- Coordinate and assist with fire reports, Freedom of Information requests, Council reports, incident reports, and other ad hoc requests.

**Education and Experience**
- Post-secondary diploma in Office/Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in an administrative role.
- Three (3) years supervisory experience and or five (5) years of fire service experience preferred
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel and database experience.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise.
- Knowledge of FDM Database and programming languages preferred.
- Knowledge of Ministry of Transportation Fire Service Response to Provincial Highway Reporting and Authorized Requester Information Service (ARIS) preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with strong problem solving skills and mature judgement.
