Edmonton, Canada Manor Clinic Full time

Manor clinic is seeking an energetic individual to add to our mental health practice. Our team comprises psychologists, psychiatrists and social workers (mental health therapists). We are looking for someone who is preferably able to work from Tuesday-Saturday.

Applicant should have two years of work experience, speak fluent English and be knowledgeable with Microsoft Word, Outlook, G-mail, Google Meet and Zoom. An empathic professional attitude is a must to support individuals with mental health problems and developmental disorders. The applicant is expected to possess knowledge of and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) keeping. We use Accuro EMR for our clinic. The applicant should have superior multitasking and organizational skills.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Scheduling appointments, booking appointments, greeting and checking patients as they arrive and making appointment reminder phone calls.

Arranging and/or booking internal and external referrals.

Contacting patients to relay information on behalf of the physician

General office administration tasks such as sorting mail and faxing documents.

Processing patient payments and issuing related invoices.

Liaising with insurance companies for psychology payments.

Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.

Managing clinic flow and organization while keeping the patient area and offices clean

- The clinic is situated on a two-acre property in Rutherford, Edmonton.
- The clinic is fully surrounded by mature trees on all four sides. This provides a unique and park-like experience that is relaxing for the clients and the professionals.
- The clinic backs onto a tree line with walking trails that could be used by staff and clients for a relaxing walk in nature.
- The clinic has a porch swing and garden swings that the clients can use during warm weather for a relaxing and sensory experience.
- Ample parking: The clinic has 22 parking stalls that the staff and the clients can use. This includes two handicap parking stalls. There is plenty of space within the property to expand parking in the future if needed.
- The clinic parking is lit with LED lights to ensure the safety of the professionals and the clients. In addition, video surveillance with security cameras has also been installed to enhance safety.

Manor clinic layout:

- The clinic is fully handicap accessible that includes two accessible toilets.
- Video surveillance with security cameras has been installed in the reception, waiting and communal areas to ensure safety.
- The clinic rooms are designed to be soundproof to ensure the privacy of the information exchanged between the clients and the professionals.
- The basement is specially designed to provide a relaxing and private space for the staff. This includes a basement kitchen (with a refrigerator, microwave, and comfy chairs) and a staff washroom.

**Salary**: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
