Medical Receptionist with Medical Background Experience
Overview:
Join our team at Savera Medical Centre as a Medical Receptionist where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients. As an Medical Receptionist, you will work in a clinic-based environment utilizing your expertise in patient care and to ensure the well-being of those under your care.
**Responsibilities**:
- Answering phone calls and booking current and future addiction and or mental health patients
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Utilize case management skills to coordinate patient services effectively
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems.
- Entering patient laboratory results
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in the medical field
- Proficiency in medication administration and patient care techniques
- Familiarity with Addictions and Mental Health
- Knowledge of PatientVu or similar electronic health record systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members effectively; **Punjabi and English is required.**
Pay: $21.45-$41.14 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
