Medical Receptionist

Responsibilities:

- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information
- Maintain electronic medical records and update patient information as needed
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations of the office

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Experience working at the front desk of a medical or dental office preferred
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience with Healthquest is an asset

As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to our patients.
