As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in helping us reach our people objectives in support of our growth trajectory. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will have accountability for ensuring that we have the right talent in place, through a mix of permanent and contract hires.

**Responsibilities & Outcomes**:

- Turn recruiting data into a meaningful conversation with our internal customers that leads to recruiting solutions.
- Utilize your marketing and social media communication savviness to promote our employment brand and engage with Talent Communities.
- Manage campus relationships and student events, along with external career and job fairs with industry partners.

It would help if you have some experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS.) Business writing and grammar skills to help support our external recruiting campaigns and communications are required. To round out the profile, you have a demonstrated and proven sense of urgency and ability to balance shifting/multiple priorities without sacrificing deadlines.

**Skills, Capabilities, and Experience**:

- College Diploma with a concentration in Marketing, Business, or Human Resources
- Combination of 2-5+ years of demonstrated experience in sourcing and recruiting
- As part of your experience profile, you would have experience in some or all of these areas:

- Experience working as either a corporate or agency Recruiter
- Behavioural and/or performance outcome interviewing techniques
- Familiarity with Employment Equity and Diversity based hiring practices
- Employment Branding/Recruiting Branding
- Negotiating and closing offers

**All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), and Canadian Government Security clearance**
