We are currently looking to fill the position of* Talent Acquisition Team Lead* based out of our Halifax office with hybrid work options for 2 days a week.
We are getting ready to lead the largest transformation in the history of our company. Our goal is to reach 80% renewable electricity sales by 2030. This means that we will have to transform our current processes and how we deliver clean energy to help build a greener economy.
It’s an exciting time to join our organization and we’ve already made significant progress. Since 2005, we have achieved a 41% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 43% reduction in coal use. As we continue our path to 2030, we are looking for like-minded people that share our passion for cleaner energy to help us grow into the future.
**Accountabilities**:
As a member of the Human Resources team, the Talent Acquisition Team Lead will provide leadership and oversight in the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of Talent Acquisition programs and processes. You will be responsible for proactive search, pipeline development, job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, and building relationships with schools and community partners.
You will lead a Talent Acquisition team focused on understanding the talent situation across the business, responsible to enable the business through securing the right talent when needed, with the appropriate skillsets and experience, working with hiring managers to influence and coach around diversity, equity and inclusion.
You will be responsible for Senior Leadership Recruitment and will be focused on building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
**Skills, Competencies and Experience**:

- Post-secondary education in Business, Human Resources or related field combined with 5+ years of professional Recruitment/Talent Acquisition experience with a strong emphasis on strategic sourcing;
- Others would describe you as a self-starter, a strong communicator; someone who can build and maintain relationships and brings a level of maturity;
- Experienced in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and a power user of all social media is required;
- Solid business and financial acumen; you bring a clear understanding of how talent acquisition contributes to business results;
- Able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and proactive in nature;
- Results oriented, committed to meet deadlines with a high level of energy;
- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills are crucial;
- Able to work with mínimal supervision; someone who is detail-oriented, can multi-task and prioritize;
- Previous recruitment experience within a Corporate or Recruitment Agency environment would be considered a strong asset.
- Previous leadership experience would also be considered an asset.
