Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition working out of one of the Carecor branch office, with the ability to work remotely when needed, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will primarily be accountable for hiring nursing, personal support workers as well as all other supporting healthcare positions. Our Healthcare Providers work in Carecor's client hospitals throughout Ontario, Nova Scotia and beyond. Assignments for Healthcare Providers are typically temporary to casual.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle by sourcing, screening, interviewing candidates as well as conducting references and supporting the onboarding of all positions including Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Personal Support Workers, Patient Observers.
  • Network and liaise with academic institutions, healthcare sector associations, etc. to leverage contacts to build candidate pools.
  • Utilize social media platforms, targeted promotion campaigns and more for effective candidate sourcing.
  • Develop a continuous flow of candidates and maintain an active pipeline of active and passive candidates.
  • Manage and maintain recruitment requisitions in Carecor's ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and job postings.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of recruitment experience in high volume setting and preferably in a Hospital/Healthcare setting or Staffing agency
  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or other relatable Post-Secondary education
  • Solid understanding and utilization of Social Media platforms comfort in utilizing professional networking platforms such as LinkedIn as a recruitment tool
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
