**Your mission**

Reporting to the Director, Finance & Administration and Executive Director/CEO, the Human Resources Manager plays an advisory role to all positions within the CCSAI and is responsible for leading people initiatives in support of CCSAI’s strategy and in alignment with its Mission, Vision, and Values.

This role’s mandate is to act as an internal advisor, providing guidance, coaching and council on human resources programs and people practices, such as, employee engagement strategies, talent manage, talent acquisition, learning and development, employee relations and legislative adherence. This position is required to act honestly, impartially, and in the best interest of the Corporation.

**Responsibilities**
- Act as an agent of change, enabling talent building, organizational effectiveness, ongoing development, and cultural transformations
- Provide coaching and assistance in resolving people management practices ensuring compliance with college policies, CCSAI policies, and workplace legislation
- Monitor the pulse of the organization assessing employee morale, conveying findings and recommendations to CEO and BOD
- Develops, amends, and maintains HR policies, documents, programs, and procedures
- Supports managers and ensure proper execution of onboarding and offboarding for all CCSAI employees including orientation sessions, assisting in terminations, separation documents and logistics with Finance and IT
- Collects employee onboarding and offboarding experience data and present findings and recommendations as needed.
- Coordinates with the Payroll Administrator to provide information for the onboarding and offboarding process for payroll
- Responsible to document & file any employee work injury report for the organization and submit WSIB Form 7 if needed
- Supports the creation and implementation of work integrated learning throughout the organization
- Oversees employee compensation, benefits and RRSP programs
- Responsible for providing council on CCSAI’s Performance Enablement Program and when necessary, provide guidance and support with managing performance, development plans, disciplinary letters, and development initiatives
- Lead and oversees health & safety and wellness programs and initiatives
- Responsible for employees training, ensuring competencies are used and referenced for employee’s development and succession
- Manages and maintains HRIS, ensuring proper recording keeping for all employees and providing technical assistance when necessary
- Coaches and mentor’s staff/volunteers, empowering them, providing guidance, and facilitating opportunities for them to achieve their learning outcomes
- Attends staff meetings
- Fully conversant with, and fully adheres to, the bylaws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the CCSAI
- Other duties as assigned by the Director, Finance & Administration and the Executive Director/CEO

**Skills and Qualifications**

Key Knowledge and Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent experience
- Intermediate experience in recruitment and Human Resources practices and policies
- Demonstrated experience administering a payroll system and benefits program
- Demonstrated computer knowledge (Outlook, Excel)
- Knowledge on Dayforce & BambooHR software in the administrative role is an asset
- Knowledge of human resources best practices and employment related legislation
