This is a key role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of one or more of our properties, ensuring that all aspects of building maintenance, tenant satisfaction, and overall property management run smoothly and efficiently.
**Position: Property Management Assistant**
We are seeking a dependable and organized **Property Management Assistant** to support day-to-day operations across our residential properties in Prince Albert. Working closely with the Property Manager, this role ensures a high standard of service delivery, timely responses to tenant inquiries, and smooth coordination of building maintenance and turnovers.
This is a mobile role requiring a **valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle**, with mileage reimbursed according to Saskatchewan provincial rates. Occasional evening and weekend availability is expected for emergency support.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist with unit turnovers (move-outs and move-ins), including scheduling cleaning and inspections to prepare for new tenants
- Coordinate with external vendors for quotes, scheduled repairs, and maintenance services
- Support routine property inspections and monitor work being completed at various sites
- Maintain ongoing communication with tenants and respond to service requests in a timely, professional manner
- Liaise with suppliers, technicians, and contractors to support building operations
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, vendor visits, and tenant interactions
- Assist with maintaining compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Provide general administrative support to the Property Manager as required
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education is an asset)
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle
- Previous experience in property management, building supervision, customer service, or facility coordination is an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Customer service-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain accurate documentation
- Basic understanding of residential maintenance and repair processes
- Experience with property management software is an advantage
- Familiarity with local housing regulations is a plus
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
