**The Opportunity**
Do you want to work with the best construction company in the Kootenays? We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our growing team based out of our satellite office in Fernie, British Columbia. Reporting to the Controller, the Office Administrator is the go-to person for the organization of all administration for two busy offices in Fernie and Nelson. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration including managing all software and IT needs, managing insurance, licenses, general inquiries, records management and support for all aspects of the business. The Office Administrator will also be responsible for some bookkeeping functions as needed, with potential travel to the Nelson office as needed. We are looking to hire a full-time, **Office Administrator.** As a member of the North Mountain Construction team, you will play a key role in overseeing the administrative operations of the business. - Bookkeeping functions including accounts payable, posting revenues and overseeing accounts receivable.
- Ensuring the effective and efficient functioning of the office including answering phones, greeting visitors, coordinating mail/couriers, and assisting site/shop crew
- Working with our Human Resources department to ensure all staff have the technology and software they need to perform to their highest level
- Managing and tracking company assets including trucks, computers, purchase accounts and licenses
- Administrative tasks including insurance renewals, arranging travel and completing documentation as required
- Assisting with human resources initiatives including celebration planning
- Preparing business correspondence
- Organizing and filing documents

- Website design and social media maintenance experience is an asset
- Certificate or diploma in Business Administration, Bookkeeping, or other related field
- Five years’ recent, related experience
- Understanding of and/or experience in the construction industry is helpful
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
