JLL supports the Whole You, personally and professionally.

JLL is seeking an Accounts Administrator for a 12 Month fixed term contract. The incombant will be responsible for various on-site functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and accurately interpreting lease clauses related to financial terms of the rent.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

**Accounts Receivables**:
Prepare account statements

Collect and distribute monthly percentage rent billings

Collect outstanding tenant rents

Complete daily bank deposits

Process monthly rent cheques

Complete adjustments to tenants' accounts and NSF cheques

Code and process invoices as required

Manage petty cash

**Gift Cards**:
Track and receive inventory orders

Perform daily deposits and reconcile gift cards

Handle marketing/promotional orders of gift cards

**Sales**:
Collect and enter Annual Certified Sales Reports

Distribute Percentage Rent invoices

**Lease Administration**:
Prepare initial rental advice notice, cover letter to tenants, and subsequent rent escalations

Manage tenant opening and closing forms

Handle deposit and refund of Tenant and General Contractor Security Deposits

Complete reconciliation of monthly rent roll

Perform verification of year-end reality tax and CAM for year-end adjustments

**Other Duties**:
Assist the General Manager and Marketing Manager in the preparation of monthly reports, year-end accruals, budgeting, and Promotion Fund accounting/spreadsheet

Provide backup support for Sales, traffic, Occupancy report, and Operations Dept. administrative duties

Perform administrative tasks such as relief reception and document filing

Carry out additional duties as required

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Post-secondary education in Business preferred

1-2 years of related industry experience with an emphasis on accounting/bookkeeping

Excellent organizational, mathematical, and communication skills

Basic understanding of lease interpretation

Strong computer skills (Word and Excel)

Knowledge of Yardi would be an asset

Ability to work under pressure within a dynamic environment
