**Job Summary**:
Administration Receptionist is responsible for the operating procedures in the reception area and common areas.
**Job Specifications**:
- Starting Wage: $20 / hour
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
**What you’ll be doing**:
- To continually strive to exceed our Guests’ expectations and to create memories for guests and staff as the best mountain experience again and again
- To ensure that each guest, client or staff member has a positive first impression of Whistler & Blackcomb Mountains.
- Greet each guest, client or staff member in a prompt and friendly manner, determine the nature of their visit and respond to their needs in every way possible.
- Provide information to the public in regards to the operations of the mountains.
- Process and distribute incoming/outgoing mail, faxes and courier deliveries. Secure and track all packages delivered to reception.
- Accept and secure all cheques received and enter into Arch spreadsheet
- Responsible for Parking Pass, recording use, and checking for Passes in Admin Parking Areas.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
- Provide support to other departments as required, as approved by Supervisor. Support division by performing other duties such as Guest Service host, Reservations Centre host and Ticket Host
- Maintain cleanliness of Reception Desk, Kitchen and other Common Work areas.
- Perform other related duties as required.
**Job Requirements**:
- Requires previous experience in administrative tasks
- Always show up on time, in uniform, and adhere to the grooming policy
- Proof of clear criminal record check.
- Must be available to work 5 x 8 hour shifts.
- BC Driver License required.
**Job Qualifications**:
- Ability to operate a multi-line telephone
- Ability to work independently & as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to details
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be organized and be able to manage a variety of projects
- Must work well in a fast-paced, challenging environment with mínimal supervision and be self-motivated.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be mature and well-groomed
