**Real Estate Administrative and Marketing Assistant position**
**MUST LIVE IN OTTAWA TO BE CONSIDERED**
Looking for a reliable, hard-working and detail-oriented Assistant who will undertake a broad set of administrative and clerical tasks, such as providing primary administrative and Marketing and social media support to a busy Realtor, assisting in daily office needs and managing general administrative activities such as preparing monthly reports, property management, seller and buyer deals, updating social media and website.
**IMPORTANT**:
- You should have excellent knowledge of social media marketing and very comfortable with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google Business Page marketing. Oral and written communication skills and be able to organize the work using tools, like MS Office, Canva, mailchimp will also be needed.
- You should be very comfortable using Canva to design marketing material.
*Previous real estate experience as a real estate assistant is highly valued*
- Passion for the real estate industry, wanting to get their real estate license and wanting to pursue a long term real estate career a definite asset*
25 hours + per week to be **spread 4-5 hours+ a day Monday to Friday during business hours. 3-4 days work at the office and possibility to have 1-2 days work from home.**
There is the possibility to move to a full time position should the work load increases and the assistant is interested in going to full time.
**Job responsibilities**:
Maintain our social media marketing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google business page.
Prepare, update and send out client reports
Update and maintain client records in the database (CRM, KW command)
Post listings for sale and rent on all online classified such as Kijiji, Zumper, Rentals.ca
Input tax receipts in spreadsheet (Excel) on a quarterly basis
Manage and update our website on a weekly basis
Design feature sheets and marketing material using design tools such as Canva
Handle our property management business with tenant/landlord communication etc.
**Job requirements**:
Previous experience in the real estate industry as an administrative assistant or new agent
Full understanding and grasp of all the social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram).
Good practical experience with MS Office (Word, Excel), CRM database.
Good Knowledge using online tools like Canva and Photoshop to design visually engaging marketing material.
Strong time management and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize work
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with close attention to detail
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
**Asset qualifications**:
Willing to work independently in a home office environment or remotely but at the same time be able to produce results.
Initially, to make yourself available to spend 4+ hours a day during business hours at the office and as the job becomes more familiar you can work a mix of office and remote working days.
Real Estate experience and knowledge is highly preferred
French is an asset
**Other**:
You will be required to invoice your hours. Invoicing methods can be provided
You will work closely on a weekly basis with the Realtor and the work can vary from week to week
