HR Administrative Assistant

We are currently seeking a _temporary_ Administrative Assistant to provide basic Human Resource technical and general administrative support to the HR team.
**This is currently 6 Month contract position (with potential for extension) at our Airdrie head office.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supports the Human Resources team in facilitating excellent client services to all managers, employees and external vendors.
- Prepares letters regarding, employee status changes, verifications of employment, etc.
- Assists Propak’s Benefits Advisor with, maintaining employee information, building benefits booklets, issuing benefits cards, and processing requests as appropriate
- Respond to general employee inquiries and HRIS lock out resolution.
- Maintains and updates HR records, employee data, and personnel files (Scanning/filing)
- Provide vacation relief to the HR team where needed
**Qualifications**:
- Ability to act with a high level of maturity, integrity and confidentiality
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Office Administration or HR Management Certificate/Diploma
- 2-5 years office administration experience
- Experience in administration, employee relations, and coordination of employee activities is preferred
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Experience with using UKG or other Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) data management is a strong asset
