Community Outreach/social Media Coordinator

Full Circle Therapy is a growing organization offering therapy to children ranging from ages 2-12 with or without a diagnosis. We are currently looking for Community outreach/Social Media Coordinator.
Full Circle Therapy works towards providing meaningful change in the lives of children. We offer compassionate, ethical and accessible services for families in Ottawa and surrounding areas. We strive to empower children by respecting each child for who they are and building relationships with other professionals in the community.
This is a part-time hourly position with the flexibility to choose your own hours, work from home or in the centre and join a fun and passionate team of individuals
The Community Outreach/Social Media Coordinator is responsible for connecting the organization with the surrounding community including schools, daycare centres, volunteers, other local agencies, universities, parents, other stakeholders as well as a lead role in social media campaigns.
Job responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the planning and implementation of outreach strategies
- Assist in the organization of special events, including volunteer appreciation events
- Represent Full Circle Therapy in the community as a spokesperson for our programming and events.
- Assist in the organization of special events, including fundraising initiatives
- Communicate and liaise with community partners
- Follow up with new clients and waitlisted clients
- Assist with the planning of weekly social media and digital content
- Develop and manage content for social media
- Assisting in various digital marketing and communications initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
Share and actively uphold the values of Full Circle Therapy, including support for and celebration of diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Two (2) years of relevant experience
- Digital marketing experience with proficiency in all social channels
- Experience working on fundraising initiatives
- Exceptional organization and time-management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new and changing deadlines, circumstances, and challenges; Bilingualism is an asset.
- Superior written communication, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and editing skills.
- Knowledge of the Ontario Autism Program, Applied Behaviour Analysis and Special Education services is considered an asset
- Appreciation and respect for protocol, professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and in a collaborative environment
- Recognize and Adhere to ethical responsibilities
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 3-15 per week
**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
