We have the privilege of working alongside individuals and families who bring incredible resilience, knowledge, and strength as they navigate diverse life circumstances. Many of our clients are Indigenous and/or have lived experiences with substance use, mental wellness challenges, housing precarity, interpersonal violence, or involvement with child welfare or justice systems. While our clients come from many backgrounds, the majority are Indigenous, and we honour the strength, resistance, and cultural richness of Indigenous communities in the face of ongoing colonial impacts. At the core of ORACLE is a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and harm reduction approach. We recognize that health and healing are deeply connected to autonomy, dignity, and community. A demonstrated commitment to cultural safety, cultural humility, and working in ways that respect and reflect the wisdom, strengths, and autonomy of each individual is essential. This role requires someone who is skilled in building trust, navigating complex systems, and staying grounded in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong communication, organization, and a deep commitment to equity, social justice, and community-led support are key.
