**Hours**: 1.0 FTE, 37.5 hours per week, permanent full-time

**Position Summary**

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Assistant will be responsible for providing transactional and administrative support to Insight’s HR department and its team members. This includes assisting with day-to-day coordination of various activities, such as recruitment, orientation and onboarding, maintenance of files, data entry, correspondence, and other areas as directed.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assist and support throughout the recruitment process
- Assist and support the new hire process, including orientation and onboarding
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of accurate and comprehensive employee files and HR filing system
- Provide general clerical and administrative support
- Assist and support HR Manager and HR team members as needed
- Perform other duties as required.

**Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge**
- Critical eye for attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational, follow-through, and time management skills
- Proficient and comfortable using technology, Microsoft Office 365, and working in a digital environment
- Strong people-focused service skills
- Positive and outgoing team player
- Confidentiality is essential

**Qualifications**
- Post secondary education, Human Resources training preferred but not required
- Experience in Human Resources considered an asset
- Enthusiasm for the people and culture aspect of an organization
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now considered an asset
- Satisfactory criminal record check result required
