**Job Summary**:
An exciting opportunity is available within the Global Procurement team of NAVBLUE, a 100% Airbus Company. The Head of Procurement assumes a pivotal role as the leader of NAVBLUE’s Procurement organization consisting of 5 employees, 80 requesters and over 600 suppliers based globally. The incumbent is responsible for orchestrating the acquisition of goods and services across all NAVBLUE departments. They will manage an annual expenditure of 55M€ with third-party suppliers and 14M€ allocated to Airbus entities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and foster the professional growth of procurement team members, aligning their efforts with the Airbus Leadership Model. Promote a collaborative and high-performance work environment within the team.
- Procurement Process Ownership: Take ownership of the procurement process, incorporating legal, ethics, and compliance considerations, as well as Navblue's strategic framework constraints. Define and implement strategies ensuring adherence to these critical parameters.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Assume responsibility for managing relationships with all Navblue suppliers. Cultivate strong partnerships, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and mutual value creation.
- Order Management Accountability: Be accountable for the end-to-end ordering process, from generating Purchase Orders to overseeing Invoice payment, across all Navblue entities. Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Project Representation and Interface: Represent Procurement effectively in key projects related to procurement and finance transformations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams from Navblue, Airbus, and external providers, interfacing with procurement, finance, and IT departments..
- KPI Development and Monitoring: Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the procurement team, focusing on areas such as compliance, efficiency, and supplier performance. Implement robust metrics to assess and enhance team performance.
- Supplier Advocacy and Risk Management: Act as the voice of the supplier, advocating for Navblue's interests. Evaluate supplier risks and opportunities, ensuring these factors are meticulously considered in strategic decision-making processes.

**Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:
**_ Experience:_**
- Expertise in Procurement: Extensive professional background in procurement is essential for this role, showcasing a deep understanding of industry best practices and methodologies.
- Contract Negotiation Proficiency: Demonstrated ability in negotiating contracts is a prerequisite, highlighting a track record of successful negotiations and the capacity to secure favorable terms for the organization.
- Contract Management Expertise: Strong experience in contract management is vital, emphasizing the capability to oversee contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and optimizing outcomes.

**_ Licensure/Certifications_**
- CSCMP or APICS Certification is required
- Post-secondary education in business or supply chain is required

Proficient in managing long-term partnerships, ensuring seamless collaboration and mutual benefits.

**_ Technical Systems Proficiency:_**
- Click’n Buy / Coupa or any other procurement tool knowledge is required
- Business Intelligence tool knowledge is preferred
- SAP P11 knowledge is preferred
