**Position Overview**:
We are hiring a Team Lead to oversee and guide direct support staff in delivering exceptional care to adults with developmental disabilities. This role includes hands-on support, leadership, and administrative responsibilities. Duties may vary based on program needs.

**Reporting To**:
The Team Lead reports to the Community Residential Manager and provides day-to-day leadership to frontline support staff.

**Key Duties Include**:
Ensure alignment with all company policies and safety procedures

Monitor compliance with CET (Creating Excellence Together) standards

Lead high-quality service delivery for all clients

Support goal setting and skill-building for individuals

Manage behavioural concerns and support staff in best practices

Provide shift scheduling, absence approvals, and documentation

Train, mentor, and evaluate support staff

Maintain safety protocols, including OH&S and emergency plans

Handle basic administrative and household responsibilities

**Qualifications**:
Diploma or degree in Disability Services, Community Rehabilitation, or a related field

experience preferred

Strong knowledge of Indigenous traditions and cultural diversity

Familiarity with LGBTQ2S+ identities and trauma-informed practices

Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Flexibility to work a variable schedule and manage crisis situations

Valid driver’s license, $2M vehicle insurance, and a clear driver’s abstract

Valid First Aid/CPR and completed Vulnerable Sector Check

Training is provided, though preference is given to those with direct experience.

- **A Criminal Record Check (with Vulnerable Sector) that is dated within the last 6 months**_
- **Proof of eligibility to work in Canada**_
- **Class 5 Alberta Government Issued Driver’s License**_
- **A Driver's Abstract that is dated within the last 6 months**_
- **Copy of education listed in resume.**_
- **Please note that given the nature of our work, proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.**_
