This is an interview position.
To sell FedEx Services to both 'new' and 'existing' customers with primary focus on the district's top field sales existing and target accounts ($100,000+) with the key deliverable of achieving assigned revenue objectives (as measured and determined by FedEx). Acts as team lead and assists manager in providing coaching/training/etc. to junior/new staff members and assumes responsibility for additional tasks/duties as assigned. Serves as project lead/SME on specific fiscal year initiatives as assigned by DSM and/or regional MD.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Three (3) years of commercial sales experience (business to business, transportation industry preferred) with two (2) years experience within Account Executive role
- Previous experience selling to large (Fortune 500) corporations preferred
- Demonstrated basic level proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel; standard level proficiency in PowerPoint
- Promotes self-development through continuing education and enhancing knowledge of the competitive marketplace
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation, relationship, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated self-motivation with proven ability to work independently
